Forever

Well it has definitely been forever since I have posted anything. A lot has happened recently. They totally remodeled the front office where I work. It is kind of fun to have a change of any sort at work. Everything had gotten monotonous lately, it is sad when you are thrilled for a new desk but those are just the facts of it.
I also received a new calling in our ward. They called me to be the 2nd counselor in the Young Women's presidency. I am really excited to be a little more involved. If you didn't know I was the Mia Maid advisor before this. So I just showed up and did what I was told (which can be really nice) I am nervous to work with the Beehives, I have always worked with the Mia Maids or the Laurels, but I know it will be fun! I am also really excited to work with the new president. She is such an inspiration to me!!
About month ago I got called to be an ordinance worker in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Mike has been working there since they opened, but I just got called. I absolutely love it. It is fun because since it is a small temple you get to rotate through everything. I love getting the chance to serve every Saturday morning. I have definitely felt a change in my life because of this. I feel great about my situation in life, since starting at the Temple.

I am really excited for all these new changes. I am the kind of person who enjoys change (most of it anyway).

Inspirational Quote

LDS.org - LDS Gem Archives - October 2009: "The Door to True Happiness

“The gospel of Jesus Christ has the answers to all of our problems. The gospel is not a secret. It is not complicated or hidden. It can unlock the door to true happiness. It is not someone’s theory or proposition. It does not come from man at all. It springs from the pure and everlasting waters of the Creator of the universe, who knows truths we cannot even begin to comprehend. And with that knowledge, He has given us the gospel—a divine gift, the ultimate formula for happiness and success.”
Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “The Way of the Disciple,” Ensign, May 2009, 75"

Random Thoughts

I am NOT ready for snow.

I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband. He is so good to me and I love him more than anything!

I absolutely love my calling with the young women. They are all so adorable!

I am excited for one thing that comes with snow, SOUP!

I wish there was more time in the day.

Most of all, I love who I am, I enjoy being me, I have a great life.

Thanks to all my friends and family for always being there. I love you guys. I hope you know if you need anything at all I am here.

WANTED

One big serving of LUCK.

Apparently I don't have any. I know everyone always says this but I have proof! One might say that you are in need of luck when your brand new beautiful Ford Explorer is already broken.

I can't believe it. I got to drive it for ONE day, just one! Apparently the rear wheel is coming off or something like that nothing to important.

So if anybody has any luck they are willing to share, I could use all I can get

Yeah!!! I love fun new crafts. Especially fall ones. (fall decorating is my favorite) Here is a cute idea, either for yourself or a gift.

I got the idea from one of my favorite shows, One Tree Hill. Peyton makes one of these for her baby because she thinks she is going to die, and she wants her baby to remember her. (I know it is totally a soap opera, but it is just so good) I think it would be fun to make one for your kid or just for you to look back at, you could put a little journal of memories or whatever else to remember a certain time in your life.
It was really easy to make, it only took about an hour or so. (any craft takes me way longer than anyone else, I have this weird perfectionist thing going on) I got the box at Roberts. They had a ton of different sizes. I just used spray glue to stick the paper on, but you could also use mod podge (best invention ever!)

I am also way excited about my other project. Becky found this way cute halloween table runner.

We are going to make it. We got a huge deal on the fabric and it is going to be a lot of work but it will totally be worth it. I am so excited.

Hurray for Crafting!!!!

Coolest bag ever!!!!

So I was with the young women in my ward at Wal-Mart (the devil store as we lovingly call it) and I saw the coolest bag I have ever seen in my whole life. I had to have it. I didn't have any money with me so I was going to go back the next day and get it. I told Mike about it and he being the sweetheart he is went and got it for me. It was only $9. How cool is that!

Yes it does have Coldplay on the front. They are one of my all time favorite bands. I was so mad that we didn't go see them in concert when they came recently! Yeah for good deals on fun things!
