Baby Shower

On Saturday we had a baby shower at my house. It was fun getting everything ready, I love planning and being at these kind of events. I am totally a sucker for them!!! I think it turned out great, the decorations were way cute (great ideas Ronda).

I know that you can't really see it. This is the only picture I got. I made the banner in the corner with adorable pink, green, and yellow fabric and I sewed them on a burlap ribbon. It turned out cute if I say so myself. I got the idea from here. I didn't follow the tutorial but I am sure it would have been helpful, then trying to figure it out by myself.

We decided on a cookies and milk theme. I found the idea here. I thought it was adorable. Plus you aren't making a ton of food. We stored the cookies in glass jars lined with paper.

The jars were labeled, and had bows tied around them. As one of the favors we had bags so they could take cookies home.

We served milk, chocolate milk, and juice. My mother in law had those cute jugs to serve the milk in. I thought it turned out great.
Congratulations to Heather and good luck at the end of April. We are excited to meet little Cadence.
